Persons who have obtained the Qualification Certificate of Insurance Intermediary Practitioners before May 1 2005, who apply for extension and fail to meet the requirements of continuing education hours, and meet other conditions stipulated by insurance laws, regulations and insurance regulatory agencies, can continue, but the insufficient hours during the transition period should be supplemented.
Those who have obtained the qualification certificate of insurance intermediary practitioners during the transition period are allowed to accumulate annual continuing education hours, but they must meet the requirements of accumulated hours when applying for renewal of qualification certificates; Those who have obtained the qualification certificate after the transition period will not accumulate the annual hours of continuing education.
Article 31 The recommended teaching materials of insurance law and professional ethics education mainly include the Reading Book of Insurance Professional Ethics Education, the Compilation of Relevant Supervision Laws and Regulations of Insurance Intermediaries and other teaching materials recommended by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
Article 32 The China Insurance Regulatory Commission shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Measures.
Article 33 These Measures shall be implemented as of May 6, 2005.
