Is Belarus a socialist country?
If we use China's four cardinal principles (which are actually the basic characteristics of socialist countries) to analyze, the results are as follows:

1, Adhere to the socialist road: Although Belarus does not have a clear law on the status of the socialist road, its policy agenda is formulated on the basis of summing up the experience and lessons of the former Soviet Union, and many policies even directly copy the former Soviet Union. However, because the socialist road is not mentioned in its constitution, this is controversial;

2. Adhere to the people's democratic dictatorship: On the surface, Belarus is a western parliamentary system. However, due to its strong centripetal force, unity, awareness and education level, it can still fully implement the people's democratic dictatorship under the existing system.

3. Adhere to the leadership of * * * *: * * is not the ruling party in Belarus and has little influence. This is a strange phenomenon. The influence of communist thought in Belarus is far greater than that of * * *;

4. Adhere to the guiding ideology of scientific socialism: The political status of the guiding ideology of scientific socialism is not clearly defined in the Constitution of Belarus. However, the name of the largest newspaper in Belarus is Soviet Belarusian newspaper, and socialist history education still occupies a considerable weight in Belarus. In Belarus, Lenin statues are basically kept in all public places, and the public ownership economy has an overwhelming advantage in Belarus. The status of the working class in Belarus is far higher than that of other CIS countries. Various phenomena show that scientific socialism has a relatively extensive and profound influence in Belarus. Scientific socialism in Belarus is developing from a simple theory to a culture with Belarusian national characteristics.

Therefore, I feel that positioning Belarus is neither in line with the definition of a capitalist country nor fully in line with the definition of a socialist country. Belarus follows the independent "Belarusian characteristics".
