Qiongzhong is located in the middle of Hainan Island, at the northern foot of Wuzhishan Mountain. North latitude1814' ~19 25', east longitude109 31'~10 09'. The whole territory is 79.22 kilometers long from east to west, 76.69 kilometers wide from north to south and covers an area of 2,704.66 square kilometers. The county government is located in Yinggen Town, which is 36 km away from Haikou City136 in the north, Sanya City165 in the south, 90km away from Wancheng Town in the east and 84km away from Nada Town in the west. The central line of the sea runs through the whole territory, and the road network spreads radially around. It is a transportation hub in the north-south and east-west directions of Hainan Island, and there are shuttle buses to all parts of the island every day. Qiongzhong is actually just a county, almost two and a half times that of Hong Kong (1 104.43 square kilometers), or equivalent to 82 Macao (32.8 square kilometers excluding 85 square kilometers of sea area).
