Xunyang City is a municipality directly under the Central Government of Shaanxi Province, and Ankang City is in charge. Located in the southeast of Shaanxi Province, in the east of Qinba Mountain area, the Han River passes through the territory. It borders Yunxi County in Hubei Province and Baihe County in Shaanxi Province in the east, Zhushan County in Hubei Province, Zhuxi County in Shaanxi Province and Pingli County in Shaanxi Province in the south, Hanbin District in Shaanxi Province in the west, Zhen 'an County in Shaanxi Province and Yunxi County in Hubei Province in the north.

Xunyang has a history of 6,000 to 7,000 years, and ancestors lived here in the Neolithic Age. The Qin dynasty set up a ten-day pass, and Xunyang county was the pass. Xunyang has experienced the development history of agricultural civilization for more than two thousand years.
