With the approval of the relevant education departments, the Oriental Institute of Advanced Decision Management, the first university in China founded by social forces to train decision-making management talents, was recently established in Beijing. This is a non-academic adult university, which aims to promote oriental culture, absorb western scientific and technological achievements, cultivate decision-making management talents urgently needed by socialist market economy, and improve the professional level of leading cadres (that is, scientific decision-making).
According to Professor Zhang Shunjiang, the president of the Institute, in the past 12 years, Chinese scholars summarized the experience and lessons of decision-making management in Chinese and foreign history, and boldly established the decision-making discipline on the basis of absorbing the achievements of social science, natural science and thinking science. Up to now, 9 million words of monographs on decision management theory have been published, including Elements Theory, Elements Theory, Decision Basis, Major Project Decision, Principles of Management Science, etc. And jointly organized more than ten advanced seminars and short-term training courses on decision-making management with relevant universities at home and abroad, with more than 30,000 participants. At present, it is recognized by international academic circles that China's research on decision-making discipline is in the leading position in the world. The college has hired more than 100 experts and professors from various disciplines at home and abroad to teach. Adopt multi-level and diversified teaching forms such as full-time, amateur, on-the-job and correspondence to train more decision-making management talents.
