Nanming district belongs to subtropical mild and humid climate zone. Because it is located in the low latitude and high altitude area, it is influenced by the Indian Ocean monsoon circulation in winter, with mild climate and abundant rainfall. However, due to the uneven distribution of rainfall seasons, it is easy to cause droughts and floods. In addition, late spring cold and frost are also common disasters, which are not good for crop growth. The annual average sunshine hours in Nanming District are 1354 hours, which is one of the cities with the lowest ultraviolet radiation in the world. The annual average temperature is about 18℃, in which the summer average temperature is about 24℃ and the annual average rainfall is 1200mm. There are many transit rivers in Nanming District, including Nanming River, Che Xiao River, Nanmen River, Xishi River, Guancheng River, Duimen River and Shahe River, all of which belong to the Yangtze River system, and Nanming River is the main irrigation water source in this area.
