Eight kinds of bears
Bears are large mammals in the world, and there are eight kinds. They are: Brown Bear, Black Bear, Polar Bear, Asian Black Bear, American Black Bear, Short Kiss Bear, Snow Bear and Giant Panda. Brown bear is the most common bear species, living in forests and mountains in North America and Asia. They are huge and have a wide range of diets, feeding on plants, fish and small mammals. Black bears are divided into Asian black bears and American black bears. Asian black bears are mainly distributed in mountainous and forest areas of Asia and feed on plants. American black bears are widely distributed in North America. They also eat plants, but they also eat insects and small animals. Polar bear, also known as polar bear, is a kind of bear that adapts to extremely cold environment. They live in the Arctic and mainly feed on marine animals such as seals. Short-nosed bear is an endemic species in Southeast Asia, mainly distributed in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. They mainly feed on fruits, insects and small animals. Snow bear, also known as white bear, lives in the cold Arctic. Their white fur is for camouflage and protection, and they mainly feed on seals. Giant pandas are endemic to China, and their staple food is bamboo. They live in the mountains of China and are endangered, which is the focus of global protection.
