The cradle of engineers in the first mountain area faces the needs of economic and social development in the capital. The school clearly put forward the grand goal of building a new era. According to the functional orientation and economic development direction of the capital city, it is of great significance to build the cradle of engineers in the first mountain area in the new period with Lide Shu Ren as the fundamental task. The cradle of engineers in the first good area is implemented by Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology in Daxing District, south of Beijing. It is the first batch of pilot colleges and universities in the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education, which specializes in training "the cradle of engineers in the first good area".
