Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics is an important financial college in the western region of China, and it is the only financial college in the upper reaches of the Yellow River basin with a training system for undergraduate, master and doctoral students.
The school was founded in the Administrative Cadre School of Gansu Provincial People's Government on 1952. 1958 was upgraded to Gansu Institute of Finance and Economics, and was led by Gansu Provincial People's Government to implement undergraduate education; Lanzhou University of Commerce was founded in 198 1, and was led by the former Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Internal Trade successively. During the period of 1998, the central and local governments jointly established a management system with Gansu as the main body;
