3. Primary education: South Korea's primary education lasts for six years, enrolling six-year-old children to prepare for junior high school. Primary education institutions in Korea are all compulsory schools. Starting from the fourth grade of primary school, industrial courses are added to provide students with basic science and technology education and simple vocational training.
