Zhaotong College is a provincial-level application-oriented undergraduate school, located in Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, where Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces meet. The history of this school can be traced back to 1906, the normal school founded by the Qing government. 1978, Zhaotong Teachers College was established after the second provincial normal school and Zhaotong local normal school. On March 20 12, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was upgraded to an undergraduate college.
