National gangwon University (? ) is one of Korean 10 national universities, located in Chuncheon, gangwon. The administrative regions of Korea include eight provinces and two special cities, and each administrative region has a national university.

1947.6. 14 Sichuan agricultural university was established in the spring of gangwon.

1952.3. 1 renamed Chunchuan Agricultural University.

1968.3. 1 Establish a graduate school

1970.3. 1 changed its name to gangwon university.

1978.3. 1 upgraded to a comprehensive university, renamed jiangyuan university, and established agricultural university, normal university, hosei university, polytechnic university and education curriculum department.

1979.3. 1 polytechnic was separated into natural science universities and engineering universities, and a graduate school of education was established.

1980.3. 1 Divide Hosei University into a law university and a management university, and establish a graduate school of management.

March, 20061merged with Sanji University, collectively known as Gangwon University, and established a new department (university) (BT, IT, Veterinary, Korean Health and Welfare).
