Youxi Town Central School in Linhai City is not a merged school. Youxi Town Central School is located at No.56 Yicheng, Youxi Town, Linhai City. The school was originally a public Panxi primary school, which was founded in July (1906) in the thirty-second year of Guangxu, and was founded by Progressive Qin Nan and others. The school is located in Wenchang Pavilion (now Zuoqiao Village, Youxi Town) in the south of the county. 1948, it was renamed Youxi Township No.1 Central Ethnic School and Youxi Township Dechao Substitution No.2 Central Ethnic School. 1950 was renamed Garden District Central School. 1992 moved to the town and changed its name to Youxi Town Central School, which has been in use ever since. Before 2000, the original site of the school was located in the old street of Youxi Town, covering an area of more than 9,000 square meters and a construction area of more than 4,000 square meters. 1999 with the support of Mr. Shen from Hong Kong, the school was moved to No.56 Yicheng Road, Youxi Town, and moved in 2000.
