Nanning No.3 Vocational and Technical School is a public, autonomous region-level key vocational school and autonomous region model secondary vocational school, directly under Nanning Education Bureau. 1959 was founded as Xingning Middle School, and 197 1 was renamed as Nanning No.23 Middle School.

Secondary vocational education was established in 1983, and 1985 was named Nanning No.3 Vocational High School. In 2002, it was renamed Nanning No.3 Vocational School, and in 2006, it was renamed Nanning No.3 Vocational and Technical School.

The school has a large number of "double-qualified" teachers, Nanning backbone teachers, academic leaders, Guangxi culinary masters and all kinds of excellent teachers, with more than 80% of middle and senior teachers, and more than 90% of teachers have won national, district and municipal awards. In 2009, there were 5000 students in the school, including four major groups: computer, commerce, catering and electromechanical refrigeration.
