Interdisciplinary exploration and research is the inherent attribute of ideological and political education, and the development and maturity of related disciplines will continue to promote the progress of ideological and political education. First, form a relatively mature subordinate discipline. Cross-field exploration and research have formed network ideological and political education. Ideological and political education has formed a relatively perfect theoretical framework, research paradigm and knowledge system, including theoretical system, methodology, discipline construction, the mastery and guidance of online public opinion, the guidance of college students' online groups, college students' online moral and law-abiding education, and college students' online psychological education. Interdisciplinary exploration and research have formed the psychology of ideological and political education. The research contents of the psychology of ideological and political education at least include the following three aspects: the process exploration of ideological and political education, the object exploration and the special exploration of ideological and political educators. Some research results put forward some problems in the process of contemporary ideological and political education, such as psychological routine, psychological contradiction, self-psychological development, group psychology and so on. Auxiliary disciplines such as employment ideological and political education, ideological and political education dissemination and ecological ideological and political education are also in the pipeline. Second, emerging disciplines are gradually brought into the vision of ideological and political education. The ecology of coal communication is gradually brought into the scientific vision of ideological and political education.
