"5+2" education mode means that the school provides after-school services five days a week, at least two hours a day. In order to connect with the normal local off-duty hours, students who have difficulty in picking up their children from their parents should be provided with delayed custody services. In order to reduce the burden on parents and solve the contradiction between parents going to work and picking up their children, the Ministry of Education issued a new notice and officially implemented the 5+2 model on September 1 day.
Lv Yugang, director of the Department of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education, said that the main tasks of after-school service are summarized in four aspects with the word 16, namely, "comprehensive coverage, ensuring time, improving quality and strengthening security".
1. Comprehensive coverage: All local schools should proceed from reality, formulate and improve specific implementation plans for after-school services, ensure full coverage of compulsory education schools after the start of school this fall, and strive to achieve full coverage of students with difficulties.
2. Guarantee time: that is, the end time should be connected with the local normal off-duty time. For students whose parents have difficulty in picking up their children, delayed custody service should be provided.
3. Improve quality: We should carry out a variety of literary, sports, labor, reading, interest groups and community activities to meet the different needs of students as much as possible.
4. Strengthen security: After-school service funds are mainly used to subsidize teachers and related personnel who participate in after-school services. After-school services are generally undertaken by teachers in our school, and retired teachers, qualified social professionals or volunteers can also be hired to participate.
