When I first designed the class meeting, I thought it was the first theme class meeting for students after they entered high school, so they could not feel empty and far away. However, patriotism is indeed a big topic, especially in the era when the country is relatively rich and people's lives are stable. At what point should patriotism be related to students? Therefore, I think that the most practical patriotism of students should be to study hard so as to turn patriotism from thought into action in the future.
The design of the class meeting is divided into two parts. The first part is the elaboration of patriotic thought, and the second part is the implementation of patriotic behavior. The first part lists patriots, events and speeches in history. In the second part, there are some students' own programs, including girl duet, cello solo and quiz. Later, when discussing the perfection, I felt that although the two parts were relatively clear, the main line of the whole class meeting was not very clear. Just at this time, I listened to a class meeting in Grade Two, one of which was impressive and inspired me a lot. The theme class meeting takes time as the main line, so the overall feeling is very clear, so I think our theme class meeting can also run through time.
The prototype of the adjusted class meeting is almost the same as the formal class meeting later, which is mainly divided into four periods: ancient, modern, modern and students themselves. The first three paragraphs are the first part, which mainly introduces ancient patriotic poems and modern patriotic intellectuals in the form of PPT explanation. However, I feel that the whole class meeting is too monotonous. Students suggest interspersed with some knowledge questions and answers, but the content of the questions and answers should have certain selection criteria. Thinking of the 60th National Day, the content is initially defined as achievements since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Three days before the class meeting, a rehearsal was conducted and three problems were found. First of all, time is tight. Compared with other classes, although the number of programs in our class is relatively small, it takes more time. The second is that the whole class meeting feels monotonous on two levels; The biggest problem is that the class meeting has no bright spots and does not reflect the characteristics of the class. The whole class is not very involved in the class meeting, and there is always a feeling of being separated by a layer. So I want to add a class initiative link to make students feel that the class meeting has a more direct relationship with them. At this point, the class meeting has basically taken shape.
Second, prepare

Fourth, reflection.
This theme class meeting is the first theme class meeting since students entered high school. They are very active, but they also feel that they can't start, so I gave them more advice in the preparation process. It takes about two weeks from determining the content to selecting the performers, and the students are very hard.
Our class is not very quiet, but it is really in class. The teacher came to the class and the students were quiet. I hope they will speak enthusiastically and participate actively, but they are very formal. Including students who participated in the program. The first part is about the introduction of patriotic poetry, which is demonstrated by PPT and explained by students. She spoke faster and faster like an endorsement, and soon ended this part. After that, the students were influenced by her and spoke quickly. While we estimate the time during rehearsal, it is very tight to calculate the time of the next class, so what we told our classmates in advance is to hurry up. The result went from one extreme to the other. Halfway through the program, only fifteen minutes passed. Both hosts are very nervous and don't know what to do. They advised me to talk more when commenting, and I'd better spend the rest of my time. I don't want this, and I don't want to be the protagonist of the theme class meeting. So adjust in time, let the class speak freely, talk about the learning experience of the class meeting, and talk about the experience of patriotic reading. This is an emergency, but the effect is still good, and the class meeting will be completed smoothly. If you don't know your own business first, I'm afraid you can't see that this is an unplanned program.
After the class meeting, although it was affirmed and encouraged by the teachers attending the class, there are still the following points to be improved when reflecting on the whole process:
First, expand the participation of the whole class and don't let the class meeting be just a stage for some students to perform. Second, give full play to the students' talents as much as possible, and don't rely too much on the opinions of the class teacher. Thirdly, we should improve the quality of programs and encourage students to overcome their nervousness. Fourth, we should estimate the time accurately. If you can't estimate accurately, you must have a backup plan to avoid the embarrassment of this class meeting again.
In a word, I believe that after this first time, the students have accumulated experience and enhanced their confidence. The next theme class meeting will be more fully prepared and the students' performance will be better.
