The educational system of the Western Zhou Dynasty is a typical combination of officials and teachers, and its educational content mainly includes six artistic knowledge: etiquette, music, archery, bending, calligraphy and mathematics. Compared with the Shang Dynasty, the schools in the Western Zhou Dynasty developed greatly. Its official credits were Chinese studies and rural studies, while Chinese studies were divided into universities and primary schools, which were recorded in the pre-Qin literature and inscriptions.
