Xingning District: Xingning District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It is one of the six urban districts in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Xingning District starts from the junction of Minzu Avenue and Qingxiu District in the south, borders Yongjiang River in the southwest, reaches Jiangnan District in the west, adjoins Xixiangtang District along Jiefang Road, Huaqiang Road and Railway in the west, connects Wuming County in the north and Kunlun Pass in the northeast.
On September 15, 2004, some administrative divisions of Nanning: Sitang, Wutang and Kunlun towns in Yongning County were placed under the jurisdiction of Xingning District, and the people's government of Xingning District was located in Zhu Xiang Avenue. After adjustment, Xingning District governs Minsheng Street, Chaoyang Street and Anning Street; Tangsan Town, Sitang Town, Wutang Town and Kunlun Town.
On June 25th, 2005, Sitang Town was abolished and merged into Tangsan Town. In this way, Xingning District governs 2 streets and 3 towns: Minsheng Street, Chaoyang Street, Tangsan Town, Wutang Town and Kunlun Town.
