The content of art examination for music education majors is generally vocal music, piano, solfeggio, music knowledge, quality interview and so on. Different institutions will have different examination subjects and requirements, which shall be subject to the enrollment brochures of relevant institutions.

In all music exams, solfeggio is a compulsory subject, which is commonly known as "three basic courses". Music theory and ear training adopt a unified written form, and solfeggio is a one-on-one interview.
