College was founded in July 2002, formerly known as School of Information Engineering, Dalian Jiaotong University. The development of history
In July 2002, with the approval of Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, the School of Information Engineering of Dalian Railway Institute was formally established, which is a state-owned private secondary college.
From June 5438 to February 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the college was changed to an independent college jointly organized by Dalian Railway Institute and Dalian Sunshine Century Education Industry Investment Co., Ltd., and was founded under the new system and mode. After graduation, students are awarded a bachelor's degree from the School of Information Engineering of Dalian Jiaotong University, and those who meet the requirements for a bachelor's degree from Dalian Jiaotong University are also awarded a bachelor's degree.
In 2004, the School of Information Engineering of Dalian Railway University was renamed as the School of Information Engineering of Dalian Jiaotong University;
In September, 2005, the new Lushun Campus of Information Engineering College of Dalian Jiaotong University was completed and put into use. In the same year, the College Foundation Department was established.
In 2008, the Institute of International Cooperation and Exchange was established.
