Yugan county is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, southeast of Poyang Lake and downstream of Xinjiang River. Its geographical coordinates are116013' 48 "~116054' 24", 2802 1' 36 "~ 2903'. Yugan county is a large agricultural county in the west of Shangrao, bordering Wannian in the east, yujiang county County and Dongxiang in the south, Jinxian, Xinjian and Nanchang in the west, Boyang and Poyang Lake in the north and duchang county across the lake.
