The main goal of poverty alleviation through education in the 13th Five-Year Plan
Develop preschool education, consolidate and improve compulsory education, and popularize high school education. By 2020, the overall development level of education in poverty-stricken areas will be significantly improved, and the basic public services for education for the poor, such as filing and establishing cards, will be fully covered. We will ensure that all education stages from enrollment to graduation are fully funded, all children from poor families can go to school, and no student drops out of school because of family difficulties. Everyone has the opportunity to get rid of poverty through vocational education, higher education or vocational training, and the ability of education to serve regional economic and social development has been significantly enhanced.
For pre-school children who set up files and cards, ensure that they have the opportunity to receive pre-school education; For the school-age population in the compulsory education stage, ensure that everyone can receive fair and quality compulsory education; For the school-age population in high school, ensure that they can receive high school education, especially secondary vocational education; Provide more opportunities for the school-age population to receive higher education at the stage of higher education; Provide vocational skills training for the school-age population who set up a file to meet the needs of employment and entrepreneurship.
