How to respect students
In our daily teaching, it is not difficult to find that sometimes the effect of reprimanding students is far less than that of a talk in Mao Mao. We also find that every time we reprimand students, they always have what we call sophistry. In fact, our rude reprimand is a neglect of students' self-esteem, and students' sophistry is due to self-esteem. Students are eager to be understood and respected, especially those who need help. In the eyes of some teachers and parents, they are disappointing children. They also feel deeply inferior and depressed, eager to change the environment and gain understanding and respect. If teachers despise them ideologically and ignore them in teaching, their self-esteem will be hurt again and again. Therefore, respecting the personality of these children will become a shower that activates their hearts. Teachers should respect their students. What should teachers do to respect students? The following is my understanding:

First, respect the personality of students. We should regard the student as an independent person with thoughts, opinions, needs and emotions, face up to his existence, understand his wishes, see his efforts, appreciate his achievements, and encourage him to dare to safeguard his legal rights. Over time, in order to maintain personal dignity, students will not do anything detrimental to their dignity. In addition, criticize students for not swearing and insulting students; You can't be angry with students if you have a temper.

Second, respect privacy. Students' psychological words to teachers are not easily spread by teachers. Students are mentally or physically ill, and teachers can't tell others without their permission. Respect students' right to privacy, and teachers will gain trust.

Third, respect students' personality differences.

We often say that ten fingers are long and short. There must be a difference between students' ideological performance and academic performance. Teachers often sit up and take notice of students who study well, and always like to give them some small stoves, even if they make mistakes, they are more tolerant. Students who do not study well or have bad thoughts and conduct are always concerned, such as being late for class, and teachers are always dubious when students explain the reasons; When students make mistakes, the teacher always makes them stand outside. In the long run, the less students attend classes, the less they understand, and the worse their grades will be. Students' personalities, temperaments and hobbies are very different. Teachers can't judge who is superior and who is inferior by their own likes and dislikes. They should develop their strengths and avoid their weaknesses and try their best to exert their potential.

Fourth, respect students' right to speak. As a teacher for a long time, I always like to be condescending and judge students' behavior with my inherent mindset. The students made a mistake. They were called to know the situation. Before the students finished, they scanned it and stated their conclusions. It is difficult to find out the truth of the matter.

Fifth, respect the needs of students. The needs of students are manifested in many aspects. They need your guidance in their studies. If they have problems with their classmates, I hope you can help them solve them. I hope teachers can see his efforts, especially students need teachers' attention and love. Many times, students who are struggling with their studies are afraid to ask questions because they are afraid of teachers. We should do everything possible to create a harmonious and relaxed classroom atmosphere so that students can ask questions without scruple.

Sixth, respect students' emotions. Students' emotions are sometimes incomprehensible to us adults, but they are reasonable to students. Students' emotions are different from those of adults. We can't force students to think against objective laws like us. To be a teacher is to be able to change roles, understand students' emotions and feel the pulse of students' emotional changes.

Seven, respect for students' learning achievements. Respect for students is also manifested in the affirmation and appreciation of students' academic achievements. Teachers should be good at appreciating students' learning achievements in the teaching process, so that students can enhance their confidence from success and enjoy the happiness of success. I once heard a famous teacher in class. In class, he invited a student to study. The student's reading ability is very poor, so it is very difficult to read a paragraph. After reading, he listened to the students patiently. Instead of criticizing the students, he said in a gentle tone: This classmate studies very hard and works hard. He can keep reading this article. Let's encourage him with applause. This evaluation does not hurt students, but also gives them confidence. How valuable! Other teachers may be dissatisfied and accuse the students: Why not study hard when you go home? Read so badly, try harder next time!

To sum up, I think respecting students is not an empty slogan, nor is it accommodating students' behavior, but a kind of trust, a kind of love and a kind of communication between hearts. Respecting students is the best love for students. Without respect for children, there is no education. Only by respecting children can we educate them. This is an important issue in doing a good job in education and the key to establishing teachers' prestige.
