The introduction of Hengshui Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1923. It is a public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and put on record by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in the center of Hengshui Vocational Education Park, bordering Hongqi Street (Donghu Avenue) in the east and Hengshui Lake in the national nature reserve in the south.
The college now has 6 departments and 2 departments, including computer department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, bioengineering department, economic management department, art department, foreign languages department, social science department and sports work department. There are 33 enrollment majors, including 2 central key construction majors, 2 provincial backbone majors, and 1 provincial arts and crafts design demonstration major. There are 79 on-campus training rooms and 83 off-campus training bases, including electromechanical integration technology training centers 1 set jointly established by the state, provinces and municipalities, collaborative innovation centers for modern equipment manufacturing 1 set jointly established by provincial schools and enterprises 1 set jointly. There are 285 faculty members and more than 4,000 students.

Focusing on the frontier of higher vocational specialty and regional industrial development strategy, the college actively builds a professional system with advantages and characteristics as the core. In 20 16, seven projects, including the productive training base for new energy vehicles, were approved by the Action Plan for Innovative Development of Higher Vocational Education in Hebei Province, and the college was rated as a provincial-level high-quality vocational college construction project unit and a pilot unit for diagnosing and improving the internal quality assurance system of higher vocational colleges in Hebei Province.
The college takes the implementation of modern apprenticeship as an important starting point, deepens the reform of talent training mode and comprehensively improves the quality of talent training. College students participated in the national and provincial college students' vocational skills competitions and won more than 50 awards/kloc-0. Among them, the "Flying Dreams" team of e-commerce major in the Department of Economic Management won the only "Xtep Star" award in the second Xtep Cup National E-commerce Practice Competition in 2065, with 438+04. On July 20 16, at the 15th National College Student robot contest, the pioneer team of "Zhiheng Beihao Creative Robot" in the computer department competed with teams from more than 60 universities including Tsinghua University and China University of Science and Technology, and the entry "Intelligent crutch" won the third prize in one fell swoop, which caused great repercussions in the society.
The college firmly grasps the characteristics and laws of higher vocational education, actively explores the school-enterprise cooperation modes such as "enrollment is recruitment, enrollment is employment" and "resource sharing and cooperative development", strives to break through the bottleneck of deep integration between schools and enterprises, and implements a series of ice-breaking actions in cooperation concepts, cooperation mechanisms and operations. In-depth cooperation has been carried out with more than 20 enterprises such as Xisan Inner Painting Art Co., Ltd. and Hebei Tiantai Software Technology Co., Ltd., which has opened up a new path for the reform of school-running mode and talent training mode.
The college vigorously promotes the collectivization of running schools and actively creates a new growth pole for leap-forward development. Signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Hengshui Transportation Bureau and Wuyi County People's Government, and held the unveiling ceremony of Zhi Heng Communications Vocational Education Group, which opened a milestone in the history of vocational education group development in our city.
The college actively responded to the call of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" and further promoted innovation and entrepreneurship education.
