The new basic education experimental school wind orchestra is formed by professional wind orchestras, and specially hired professional orchestra teachers such as Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and Shanghai Conservatory of Music to conduct strict training for students. In May, 2004, both the primary school group and the middle school group of Minhang District Sixth Student Art Festival won the first prize.
In May 2005, the primary school group participated in the "Shanghai Spring" International Music Festival and won the Silver Award.
In July 2005, he represented Minhang District in the 4th Shanghai Student Art Festival and won the second prize.
