Title: Goldschmidt's Law
English: Goldschmidt's Law
Explanation: Also known as the first law of crystal chemistry. It was put forward by Norwegian scholar Goldschmidt (1888 ~1947) in 1927. That is, the crystal structure depends on the number, relative size (radius) and polarization properties of basic particles (such as ions and atoms) in the crystal. This law is mainly applicable to ionic crystals, and it is only a general qualitative generalization, which can not fully reflect the whole situation of crystal structure formation.
