The TOEFL test was developed by the Education Testing Service Center to test the ability of candidates from non-English speaking countries to understand and use English in the campus environment. There are 8 TOEFL test sites in Shandong Province: Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology, Shandong University, Shandong Normal University, Shandong Education Entrance Examination Institute, Linyi University, China Ocean University, College of Continuing Education, Shandong University Weihai Branch and Yantai No.2 Middle School.
Weifang TOEFL test center is located in the first teaching building of Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology. The examination place is 6388 West Ring Road, Chengguan Street, Weifang City, Shandong Province. The exam is divided into four examination rooms in ABCD. Computer monitors, keyboards, headphones and other hardware facilities in the examination room are complete, and the test sites are separated by baffles, which is beneficial to TOEFL test.
In 2007, with the approval of the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education, an overseas examination center was established to undertake six internationally recognized overseas examination items: TOEFL, TOPIK, JLPT, BEC, GRE and Pearson VUE. More than 70 overseas exams are held every year, and candidates come from all over the country. Our overseas examination center has been adhering to the purpose of "standardized examination and humanized service" and has carried out its work in a down-to-earth manner, which has been fully affirmed by the examination center of the Ministry of Education and highly praised by the society. In recent three years, it has been rated as the national excellent test center of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) in 20/KOOC-0/6, Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK) in 20/KOOC-0/6, TOEFL and GRE in 20/KOOC-0/7, and Korean Language Proficiency Test in 20/KOOC-0/7. We provided more than 10 humanized service for disabled and sick candidates, helped to find and mail lost items for more than 20 times, provided free drinking water and paper towels, and mailed transcripts, which won wide acclaim from candidates and parents.
