2. Architectural function
The construction function of trade unions is to mobilize and organize the broad masses of workers to actively participate in reform and construction, and strive to complete the task of economic and social development. This is the social function of trade unions under the socialist conditions in China.
3. Participation function
The participation function of trade unions is that trade union representatives and workers participate in the management of state and social affairs and participate in the democratic management of enterprises, institutions and organs. This is because the broad masses of workers are in a dominant position in the political, economic, cultural and social life of the country and enjoy democratic rights in enterprises, institutions and organs. As the representative of the interests of the majority of members and workers, trade unions are determined by social functions.
4. Educational function
The educational function of trade unions is to educate workers and staff to continuously improve their ideological and moral quality and scientific and cultural quality, and to build an ideal, moral, educated and disciplined workforce. This is determined by the historical mission of the working class and the needs of the working class members' own quality.
The concrete actions of trade unions in practice;
1. Trade unions help and guide employees to sign labor contracts with enterprises, enterprises-managed institutions and other organizations, and supervise the conclusion, performance, alteration, dissolution, termination and renewal of labor contracts.
2. Establish an equal consultation mechanism to negotiate on behalf of employees and employers on matters such as handling major labor disputes and signing collective contracts.
3. Trade unions supervise employees and units to implement labor laws and regulations and participate in labor dispute settlement through labor legal supervision system and labor dispute settlement system; Establish an employee legal service center and open an employee hotline to ensure that the legitimate rights and interests of workers are not infringed.
4. Trade unions organize employees to participate in democratic decision-making, democratic management and democratic supervision of their own units through workers' congresses or other forms, and make suggestions for the development of enterprises to ensure the healthy and stable development of enterprises.
5. Trade unions carry out mutual assistance and cooperation among employees through various ways and means to promote the improvement of employment and social security system.
