Article 1: Punishment is an auxiliary means of school education. For a very small number of students who violate the discipline, the school will give them warnings, serious warnings, demerits, gross demerits, detention, expulsion from school and other sanctions depending on the nature and understanding of their mistakes.
Article 2: Except for Articles 4 and 5 of this Ordinance, the Academic Affairs Office put forward the punishment opinions, and the rest were put forward by the Health Management Section. After being studied by the Moral Education Office, they were reported to the school administrative committee for discussion and decision. The punishment of expulsion from school should be reported to the county education bureau for approval. The result of punishment shall be notified to the students themselves and their parents, announced at the general meeting of the school, and recorded in the student status file.
Article 3 If a student who has been warned, severely warned, recorded a demerit, recorded a serious demerit, or stayed in the Party for observation and punishment can deeply understand his mistakes, show repentance and make significant progress within six months to one year after being punished, the student himself or the class teacher shall submit a written request to revoke the punishment, which shall be reviewed by the Moral Education Office. If it is a warning or a serious warning, it will be revoked with the approval of the principal, and the others will be approved by the school administrative office meeting, and the principal will approve and announce the revocation of the punishment.
Article 4: Punishment for truant students: Students should attend classes (including labor and technology classes), do experiments and participate in unified activities such as class meetings and school meetings. If you can't attend class for a good reason, you must ask for leave. Those who do not take leave or take extra leave (make up leave for special reasons) are regarded as absenteeism without reason. For students who are absent from class for no reason, the class teacher should make timely home visits and strengthen education.
For those who have been absent from school for more than ten to twenty classes, the Academic Affairs Office should conduct individual criticism and education; Those who continue to be absent from school for more than twenty to two weeks (thirty-five classes per week) without reform through education may be given a warning or a serious warning depending on the seriousness of the case. Students who have been absent from school for more than two weeks in a semester without special reasons and have not returned to school after mobilization or have been absent from school for one third of the total class hours may be given demerit, gross demerit and detention for observation, depending on the seriousness of the case.
