In July of 20 14 and June of10, Raspberry Pie introduced two models, B+ and A+, respectively. The main difference is that Type A has no network interface, and the four USB ports are reduced to 1. In addition, compared with Type B, Type A has smaller memory capacity and smaller size design. Model A can be said to be a cheap version of model B. Although it is a cheap version, the new Model A also supports the same MicroSD card reader as Model B, 40-pin GPI connection port, Broadcom BCM 2385 arm11processor, 256MB memory and HDMI output port.
In terms of configuration, version B+ uses the same BCM2835 chip and 5 12MB memory as type B, but compared with the previous generation, version B+ has lower power consumption and richer interfaces. The old SD card slot is replaced by a more beautiful push-in microSD card slot, and the audio part is powered by low noise.
