The Zhonglou Foreign Language School, jointly organized by Zhonglou District and Guanghua Education Group, is a nine-year foreign language school and a joint school of Suzhou Foreign Language Schools. The school is located at the intersection of Longjiang Road viaduct and canal, adjacent to Huangliangbang Wetland Park, covering an area of about 107 mu. It is designed and built according to the scale of 48 classes in primary school and 36 classes in junior high school.

The school enrolled students for the first time in September last year and moved to Mingde Experimental Middle School to start the first grade. There are more than 800 students in Grade One, Grade Two and Grade Seven. English classes are offered in grade one.

In the next five years, Huangliangbang District will build seven primary and secondary schools and kindergartens with a high starting point, high standards and high quality in accordance with the idea of "education westward, entrusted management, integrated school running and urban-rural joint construction".
