It must be occupied. I believe that many primary and secondary school students in China will encounter such a situation, and physical education class will be squeezed out. Although there were clear policies in the past to ensure students' all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, many schools still pay more attention to intellectual development and ignore physical exercise. As a result, many children are getting worse and worse, so the state has to explicitly stipulate that primary and secondary schools should not crowd out physical education class for any reason.

First, it is not only physical education class that is squeezed.

Maybe in many schools, except physical education class, art classes such as music and fine arts have been squeezed out, and even some schools don't arrange art classes at all, which completely violates the training goal of all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor. Many children who want to learn art are looking for counseling from off-campus training institutions, and the school lacks art courses.

Second, the reason.

In fact, there are some reasons why schools exclude physical education class and art classes.

(1) failed in the college entrance examination

Although the college entrance examination now includes physical examination and art examination, it is cultivated as a special student after all, and most students in the college entrance examination are integrated with Chinese, literature and science. Therefore, for the development of most students and the admission rate of schools, many schools will crowd out physical education class. Fortunately, the physical education examination has been gradually incorporated into the general college entrance examination, and physical education class will have the same status as other courses, such as foreign languages and comprehensive arts and sciences.

Parental pressure

Many schools are desperate and have to push students out of physical education class against the policy, partly because of the pressure from parents. Many parents want their children to succeed in life. They would rather let the school attend physical education class twice a week as a self-study class, narrowly thinking that the time for practice between classes is enough for children to do physical exercise without developing other sports skills.

The Ministry of Education has made it clear that primary and secondary schools are not allowed to occupy physical education class for any reason. I believe many students will enjoy the happy time in physical education class in the future.
