Tianjin Architectural Engineering School was established in 1964, and it is the first batch of national key secondary specialized schools recognized by the Ministry of Education. The training base of "skilled talents in construction industry" approved by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Education; Tianjin construction industry professional and technical personnel training base.

The school covers an area of 55,294 square meters (83 acres) and is divided into two campuses, north and south. With a total construction area of 28,350 square meters, there are two teaching buildings, an office building, two dormitory buildings and a gymnasium, and there are three workshops and other buildings under the campus training base.

The school has campus network and computer application equipment for teaching and office, covering all teaching places and office departments. The school carries out the teaching and social training of computer application foundation, computer drawing, engineering budget and other courses, and has teaching courseware such as CAD budget software and several multimedia classrooms, equipped with digital projectors and multifunctional physical exhibition booths.
