This major trains senior scientific and technological talents who master the basic theories and methods of network engineering, computer technology and network technology knowledge, can analyze and solve related practical problems by using the knowledge and skills they have learned, and can engage in the research, teaching, design and development of various network systems and computer communication systems in the information industry and other national economic departments. The combination of computer network and communication network (including wired and wireless networks) is a remarkable feature that distinguishes this major from other network engineering majors in colleges and universities.
Training requirements: Students in this major mainly study the basic theories and knowledge of computer science and technology and network engineering, receive basic training in the application of network engineering technology, cultivate good teachers' quality, and have the ability to solve practical problems in network engineering and further learn new theories, technologies and creative thinking in network engineering.
Graduates should have the following knowledge and abilities:
1. Master a certain foundation of natural science and humanities and social sciences, and have the ability to acquire knowledge independently and good humanistic quality;
2. Master the basic theory and knowledge of computer science and technology and network, and the analysis and design methods of network system and network information system;
3. Master practical skills such as computer network construction and management;
