Xu Haidong's former residence is located in Xu Jiayao, Jiangchong Village, Xincheng, Dawu County. The house is made of brick and wood, with three rooms and two entrances. It is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit. Xu Haidong (1900— 1970), formerly known as Xu, was born in Huangpi, Hubei. 1925 joined China. He used to be the commander of the 28th and 25th Red Army, a member of the National Defense Commission and a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. 1955 was awarded the rank of general. The former residence is a quadrangle-style layout with a building area of about 200 square meters and a brick-wood structure. Xu Haidong's former residence is the witness of his early life and his gradual stepping onto the revolutionary road, which has important historical value and educational significance.
