Sea lions are very clever animals. After training, they are as good at snogging and juggling as dolphins. In addition, it is their specialty to help people dive into the seabed to salvage things in the sea. Sea lions can dive below180m. Sea lions' beards are smarter than their ears. They can distinguish sounds dozens of kilometers away.
Mild temperament, multi-cluster activities, land can form a large group of thousands of heads, and the sea is mostly 1 or a small group of more than a dozen heads. Poor eyesight, but keen sense of hearing and smell. The food is mainly benthic fish and cephalopods. Females only give birth to 65,438+0 cubs per litter. Living habits
Sea lions are very social animals, and they have various ways of communication. Usually in groups, sometimes thousands of large groups can be formed on the shore, but small groups of 1 or more than ten heads often appear at sea.
Hunting in the sea during the day, swimming and diving mainly rely on long forelimbs, occasionally climbing to the shore to bask in the sun, and sleeping on the shore at night. There is generally no fixed habitat except the breeding season. Males spend 2-3 weeks a month cruising in search of food, while females and cubs spend more time on land.
Sea lions are considered timid and docile animals, but there are also some reports that they are aggressive to humans. There is a strong sense of territory when breeding, and males are more active, especially when it comes to mating rights with females.
