Tianjin University of Science and Technology, located in the Bohai Sea and Haihe River, is a key construction university in Tianjin jointly established by the central and local governments. It is a multidisciplinary university with the coordinated development of engineering, science, literature, agriculture, medicine, economics, management, law and art. It is a "double-class" construction university in Tianjin. The first batch approved by the State Council has the right to confer master's degrees, the second batch has the right to confer doctoral degrees, and the first batch.
Since its establishment more than 60 years ago, the school has been based on light industry, serving the society, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and facing the whole country, and has formed an excellent school-running tradition of "persisting in expanding the characteristics of light industry, carefully cultivating the backbone of the industry, and determined to serve the national economy and people's livelihood".
