The ASEAN Campus of Nanning Institute of Technology belongs to the community of Nanning Education Park. Nanning Institute of Technology is a private university in independent undergraduate course approved by the Ministry of Education. The school, formerly known as Bowen School of Management, Guilin University of Technology, was founded in April 2002. In 2009, Guilin Institute of Technology was renamed Guilin University of Technology, and Bowen School of Management of Guilin Institute of Technology was renamed Bowen School of Management of Guilin University of Technology. It belongs to Nanning Education Park.
