Fujian Opera is one of the five major operas in Fujian, which has a history of more than 400 years and is a valuable traditional cultural resource in our province. Now, how to protect Fujian opera, a serious topic, has been put forward to the conference:
The first proposal: it is urgent to protect Fujian opera for more than 400 years.
In recent years, in the excavation, rescue, research and protection of the heritage of Fujian Opera, although the provincial Fujian Opera Art Research Association was established, it focused on studying and excavating the culture, tradition and connotation of Fujian Opera, such as tangible performing arts, scriptwriting, classical traditional repertoire arrangement, genre, composition, language, qupai and beautiful personality, and achieved certain results. However, in the process of comprehensive and systematic excavation, research, protection and arrangement, due to the shortage of funds, these intangible assets of Fujian opera art, such as images and records, as well as a number of classical operas, famous masterpieces, exquisite aria and precious performing arts materials of different schools that are on the verge of extinction, cannot be given. At present, some old artists of Fujian Opera have gradually died or are getting old. Once lost, it can't be recovered, which brings immeasurable losses to Fujian opera. If it is not protected now, then Fujian opera is in danger of extinction. Therefore, it is urgent to rescue and protect Fujian opera, which urgently needs the attention of governments at all levels and special funds to preserve precious historical materials of Fujian opera art by making audio, video and audio dubbing.
The second suggestion is to cultivate the performance market of Fujian opera, and the government should increase financial support.
Fujian Minju Art Center, located at No.208, the middle section of Wu Si Road, Fuzhou, was completed on June 26th, 2002. In order to cultivate the performance market of Fujian Opera, it is necessary to regularly perform a certain number and scale of programs in the center. However, at present, the commercial behavior of the market economy and the fierce competition in the market economy make every performance meaningless. The reason is that in the past ten years, Fujian opera has rarely been performed in cities (there are no performance theaters in cities), and we all performed in rural areas, which made some folk grass-stage classes with poor performance seize the opportunity to occupy the urban performance market. Some city audiences don't even know that there is an experimental Fujian theater in our province. Even though Fujian Minju Art Center has been built for two years, the audience knows very little. Whenever the theater spends manpower, material resources and funds to rehearse a play, it also does enough publicity in the media, and the ticket price is also very low, which still can't attract the audience to see the play. City audiences have the habit of watching white plays. If Fujian Opera really wants to occupy the city stage and improve the comprehensive competitiveness of the performance market of Fujian Opera, it needs the support of the government, so that Fujian Opera can have both audiences and cultivate a large number of audiences, especially young audiences, and make Fujian Opera a favorite art of Fuzhou people. In terms of expanding the performance market of Fujian opera and cultivating young audiences, we have to question the practice that some young people start to advocate speaking Mandarin or euphemistically prohibit students from speaking dialects as soon as they enter school. Students have lost the soil to speak dialects and the development space for the survival of local operas (Fujian operas). According to a survey conducted by the Municipal Evening News, more than 90% senior three students in Fuzhou have never seen Fujian Opera. These factors make some young people or middle school students not understand Fujian opera. Call on governments at all levels to protect dialect culture so that Fuzhou dialect will not disappear, especially in the financial support of local operas. At present, although the province has taken some measures in terms of funds, there are still problems in the survival and development of local operas.
The third suggestion is to create a cultural landscape symbol of Fuzhou.
Fujian Fujian Opera Art Center has become the only art hall for Fuzhou citizens to watch Fujian Opera. During the two years from 2002 (165438+ 10) to 2004 (65438+February), the Center performed hundreds of Fujian operas, songs and dances. The good performance environment and popularity of the "Center" are increasing day by day. Rongcheng citizens, opera fans and art groups who come here to perform are eager to set up a sign at the intersection of the "Center" for the convenience of artists and guests who come here to perform. According to our field investigation, there are almost no landmarks in the middle section of the most prosperous May 4th Road in our city. According to historical documents, the "Hot Spring City" in this area is another name for Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian. In 926 AD, in the fifth year of the Tang Dynasty (Xu Bing) and the early Ming Dynasty, there were three Ancient Spring "Tang Chi" when Fujian Jiancheng was established, with a history of more than 1,000 years. The three ancient "Golden Soup" cultures have a very prominent reputation and symbolic significance in the history of Fuzhou. Fujian Minju Art Center, located at No.208, Wu Si Road, Fuzhou, is located between the three historic sites of "Fish Pond and Golden Hall". Now there are many high-rise buildings here, and the relics of the past no longer exist. A memorial archway of "Gushan Block" can be built here, so that people will not forget that Fuzhou is not only an "ancient banyan tree, three mountains and two towers, three squares and seven lanes", but also the proud capital of Fuzhou-the reputation of "Fuzhou Hot Springs are the best in the world". Therefore, it is required to build an "ancient three-building" archway at the entrance of the main road of Fujian Opera Art Center (above the municipal management road between the International Building and Huacheng International and Huadu Shopping Plaza) to add a Fuzhou landmark to the guests coming from afar. In the future, I earnestly hope to protect Fujian opera and need the support of the whole society; Let the art of Fujian opera develop, let it bring forth the old and bring forth the new, and not die out. I hope the government and all walks of life will give strong support, increase capital investment, and make this wonderful art of Fujian Opera more colorful in the new century.
