First, the introduction of ancient poetry.
first day of the lunar month
(Song) Wang Anshi
The roar of firecrackers, the old year has passed; The warm spring breeze ushered in the New Year, and people happily drank the newly brewed Tu Su wine.
The rising sun sheds light on doors of each household, New peachwood charm is put up to replace the old.
This poem says that people will set off firecrackers on the first day of the first month. What else should they do? Writing on the blackboard: Spring Festival couplets
Second, the origin of couplets.
1, couplet has a history of 1000 years. Do you know its origin? Blackboard writing: origin
2. Students communicate.
3. The origin of slide show.
In ancient times, it was said that there were two immortals, Shen Tu and Lei Yu, who lived in the mountains and ate ghosts. People carved peach branches into the shapes of these two gods and hung them on doors so that they could be safe forever. This is the so-called peach charm. Later, the symbol of peach was gradually simplified, and the shape of a peach was drawn on square red paper, and then the names of Shen Tu and Lei Yu were written instead. Five generations later, I wrote some auspicious words on this red paper, and then decorated the antithesis, slowly forming today's Spring Festival couplets. Five Dynasties later, Meng Chang, the master of Shu, wrote: "In the New Year, Changchun will come on the First Festival." This is the earliest Spring Festival couplets in China.
4. Some Spring Festival couplets are interesting, such as
The first part: one shot stabbed the poor man.
Bottom line: Double hook into the god of wealth.
What interesting Spring Festival couplets have you collected and communicated with your classmates?
5. The teacher shows interesting Spring Festival couplets.
One year on New Year's Day, Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, posted three couplets, all of which were secretly unveiled by people who loved his words. Near New Year's Eve, he wants to write another pair. He was afraid of being caught again, so he cut it up and down and connected one end to the other first. The first part is "double happiness" and the second part is "it never rains but it pours". It really worked. People stopped revealing what he wrote when they saw it was unlucky. At the beginning of the new year, Wang Xizhi posted half a picture each, and the couplet became: (Show)
Part one: Happiness has not doubled up to now.
Part II: It never rains but it pours.
Third, interesting couplets.
How about this couplet? In fact, interesting couplets are not only Spring Festival couplets, but also birthday couplets, elegiac couplets, decorative couplets, industry couplets, communication couplets and miscellaneous couplets (including humorous couplets ...). These are collectively called "couplets" on the blackboard: couplets.
What interesting couplets have you collected? Can you tell the story behind the couplets? Writing on the blackboard: stories
Student exchange.
Default value:
1, the first link. (Couplet for the old man who has a birthday)
During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Prime Minister Liu Yong accompanied Qianlong to visit. They walked all day, hungry and thirsty. When I came to Liu Zhuang Zicun, I was just catching up with an old man's birthday in the village. Liu had a brainwave and said, "Your Majesty, so do we.
Give us a present so that we can eat. "Dry long nodded in agreement. As soon as the landlord saw their clothes, he knew they were not ordinary people, so he warmly invited them to have dinner together. While eating, the old man said, "Today is my 14 1 birthday. Not many people have lived to my age. You are all literati, leave me a pair as a souvenir! "Call a person to prepare Four Treasures of the Study. Emperor Qianlong pondered for a moment and wrote the last sentence: Flowers will add thirty-seven years; Then he handed the pen to Liu Yong, who took it and immediately wrote a couplet: Celebrating the ancient and rare, adding another year of spring and autumn. People didn't understand the meaning at first, but after careful consideration, they found that the upper and lower couplets were telling the age of the old "birthday girl": in ancient times, Hua meant 60 years old, and the reunion of flowers was 120 years old, plus 2 1 year old, of course, 14 1 year old; Gu Xi means 70 years old, and Gu Xi Shuangqing is undoubtedly 140 years old, plus 1 year old is also 14 1 year old.
2. elegiac couplet (Couplet in memory of the dead)
When Yuan Shikai died, someone wrote a couplet for him. The first couplet is "Yuan Shikai lives forever" and the second couplet is "Long live the people of China". In terms of rules, the first five words and the second six words are not standardized. But the irregularity of this couplet only implies one meaning. Can you see it? This actually implies a criticism of Yuan Shikai. Yuan Shikai, who tried to proclaim himself emperor, was a sinner of the people of China because he opposed the people of China.
3. Trade associations. (Couplets written for various industries)
(1) There is a complex full of skilled craftsmen. One of them refuses to accept the other and always wants to show his ability and status.
One year, the blacksmith opened and posted a trade union slogan on the gate:
Although he lives in two smoky houses, he is a good-natured man.
The carpenter looked at it and sneered, "How can I be as good as me?" ? He quickly posted his own couplet: a ruler that can form a square; Several straight lines make up a column.
The instrument technician looked at it and thought: What "makes a pillar"? Nothing can compare with me, my career is the most elegant, and my bosom friend is everywhere. He also posted a couplet:
Snow and spring spread elegant songs, and mountains and rivers have bosom friends.
The sculptor once again refused to accept this post: How far can your elegant songs spread? Can you compare with me? So he also posted a couplet: six books are all over the world, and every moment is worth a thousand dollars.
Barbers have always had a low position in paintings and are looked down upon by people. Seeing the couplets posted by the people, he was so heroic that he wanted to suppress them all, so he wrote a pair of couplets:
Do the best job in the world, and use the best job in the world.
(2) Once upon a time, there was a rich man who planned to open a hotel, so he paid three cents to buy a new shop couplet. A scholar went to apply. The rich man said, "The couplets should praise me for my good wine, acetic acid, fat pigs and prosperous people. There are no mice in the shop. " Picking up a pen, the scholar quickly wrote:
The first part is: raising pigs is like a mountain, and the mouse's head dies.
The bottom line is: a wine jar makes a jealous jar.
The horizontal recognition is: many people are ill and less wealth.
After the Spring Festival couplets were posted, people laughed and said that the rich man was scolded and didn't know.
4, decorative couplets (posted in the house for decoration)
It is said that when Su Dongpo was young, he gradually became proud because of his cleverness and was often praised. Made a pair of couplets and posted them on nave:
Know all the words in the world;
Read all human books.
Look at this tone, it's really like "the best in the world." Passers-by saw it, some boasted that this family had talents, and some shook it.
Shaking his head, I felt that Haikou boasted too much.
One day, an old man with white hair called home and met Su Dongpo. The old man said: "I heard that Su Caizi is very knowledgeable, and I am old enough to ask for advice." Su Dongpo was very proud to see that people of such an age were asking questions themselves. Out of respect, he offered his seat to the old man and asked, "What happened to the old man?" The old man didn't speak, but smiled and held a book.
Su Dongpo took the book and opened the first page. The first line cannot continue. Why? I don't know two words. Looking down, there are many new words. Suddenly, his face turned red and white, and his forehead was sweating. The old man said, "Why, you don't even know Su Caizi?" Say that finish cheerfully away.
Su Dongpo, stupefied, forgot to see Fujian for a while, and then suddenly realized. I quickly added a few words to encourage myself. This pair of door couplets became:
Be angry and know all the words in the world;
Determined to read all the books on earth.
5. communication. (Couplets produced in communication)
Once, Su Dongpo went up the mountain to play and came to a temple. The abbot of the temple saw Su Dongpo's simple clothes and cold attitude. He pointed to a chair and said coldly, "Sit down!" He said to the young monk, "tea!" After a few casual chats, the abbot found that this man was not like an ordinary person. To show respect, he personally put down a chair and said, "Please sit down!" " "Then he shouted," Go and have tea! " Su Dongpo was not angry at all and continued to talk to the abbot. The abbot asked Su Dongpo's name again, and Su Dongpo said, "I am Su Shi, the judge of Hangzhou. "The abbot was taken aback. He quickly stood up and invited Su Dongpo to his living room. He said respectfully, "Please sit down!" He also told the young monk, "Want fragrant tea! "Before he left, the abbot asked Su Dongpo to write an inscription as a souvenir. Su Dongpo wrote a couplet without thinking.
Sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down, drink tea, drink tea.
After reading this couplet, the abbot's face turned red.
6. Miscellaneous couplets (various couplets)
(1) 190 1 September, Britain, the United States, Russia, Germany, France and other Eight-Nation Alliance, forced the corrupt Qing government to sign the "Xin Chou Treaty" which humiliated the country. At the signing ceremony, four representatives of Eight-Nation Alliance deliberately said to China officials in a contemptuous tone: "We thought of a couplet, but only the upper couplet, not the lower couplet. Can you get it? " He says, just flashed his own part:
Pipa, harp, harp and eight kings are all on the throne.
They want to use this alliance to further insult the people of China and demand that the people of China submit to their Eight Heavenly Kings forever. At this time, there was a knowledgeable and honest official in China. He is full of sadness and anger. He thought: It is better to fight with them than to live in such humiliation, and they will not be wronged. So, he counted the bottom allied forward:
Ghost, four little devils pull over.
The bottom line solemnly points out that the Chinese nation is sacred and inviolable, which not only protects the dignity of the people of China, but also warns the imperialist powers. Hearing this, the four representatives of Eight-Nation Alliance had to admire China's talent and swallow his bad luck.
(2) When Zheng Banqiao was appointed county magistrate, he often visited incognito and observed people's feelings. Once, I walked to the door of a farmer's house and saw such a couplet specially written on the door, with "2345" attached; Downlink "6789"; Ask "North and South". After Zheng Banqiao saw it, he asked the officers to go back and get some clothes, food and money. After the officers brought them, Zheng Banqiao gave them to the farmer, and the farmer's owner was grateful and kowtowed repeatedly. Why did Zheng Banqiao send something to the farmer?
(3) After War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, at a celebration held by the Kuomintang, the host made a couplet: China, Czech Republic and Japan, which implied that China quickly defeated the Japanese invaders after eight years of anti-Japanese war. "Jie" here should mean "fast" and "Ke" means "victory".
Soon someone made a couplet: Nanjing, Chongqing and Chengdu. Nanjing used to be the capital of the national government, but Chiang Kai-shek's government was forced to move the capital on the eve of the fall. The couplet means: Nanjing won the Anti-Japanese War and celebrated as the capital again. "Chong" means "you" here. Couplets are composed of six place names, which are very neat, and the meaning echoes up and down. The feeling of celebration is beyond words, but it is difficult.
