The quality of education and teaching in Hukou No.1 Middle School has improved steadily. Over the past 60 years, it has trained more than 1 10,000 qualified talents for Peking University, Tsinghua and other institutions of higher learning, and won the winning school (unit) in the quality evaluation of the college entrance examination of key middle schools with registered permanent residence for two consecutive years. In recent years, the college entrance examination has reached a new high, with 297 students (excluding sports and art) having one or more books online, achieving the expected goal of breaking through the 200 mark for three consecutive years and three major steps for three years.

The campus of Hukou County No.1 Middle School faces south, with quiet environment, water and mountains inside and outside the campus, which can be described as an ideal place to study.
