professional field
In France, high school students begin to make choices for their future career path very early. Their major choices, such as BAC "S" in science and engineering, BAC "L" in literature and BAC "ES" in economics and sociology, will lay the foundation for their major choices in universities.
Class notes
In French university classes, professors usually explain for two hours, and then students need to spend the same time sorting out their notes. If there are 8 hours of classes a day, it means that students need to spend 8 hours to record and understand the class content.
A wide range of disciplines
Economics is a very broad discipline, including macroeconomics and microeconomics. These two main branches also gave birth to many sub-fields, on which the French School of Economics formulated its syllabus and offered courses.
learning plan
In my study plan, the main courses are labor market, wage theory, employment, sociology, production structure and social structure, and professional relations in economics. Elective courses include technology, post and work, labor science, gender issues in employment, working hours and methodology.
Examinations and papers
No matter the main course or the elective course, there is a final exam, and the exam results account for 50% of the enrollment rate. In addition, we need to complete an A4 paper of about 100 pages. The scores of test scores and thesis scores can complement each other. For example, if the test score only reaches 30% of the total score, then the paper score must reach 70% of the total score, otherwise you will face the risk of repeating the grade.
