Why did Vietnam resume Chinese character education?
Viet Nam has always been a subordinate country of China, borrowing China culture, and their national written language is also borrowed from us. After World War II, Viet Nam felt that its country should have its own culture, so it completely abandoned China culture and started its own unique culture. However, the Vietnamese have a short history, and they used to imitate the Chinese character culture in China, which made them encounter many difficulties and unfavorable factors.

After the end of World War II, countries entered the post-war reconstruction work, and the primary task was to eliminate illiteracy. Viet Nam has been very active in this work. In less than 20 years, illiteracy has been eliminated in Vietnam. However, due to the lack of cultural foundation, the disadvantages of Vietnamese literacy are exposed. There are no obstacles to non-governmental exchanges, but learning Vietnamese history and culture has become the biggest obstacle.

Vietnamese history books and genealogies are recorded in Chinese characters in China, but later generations only know Vietnamese, but they don't understand it at all. Under various unfavorable conditions, Vietnam can only resume Chinese character education. They think of an independent country and culture, but they don't know that national independence is still easy and cultural independence is still far away.
