After reading this lecture, I felt deeply. This lecture is divided into four lectures: 1. Setting goals; The second is the correct guidance for disobedience and temper tantrums; The third is to learn to be grateful; The fourth is to resist setbacks. What impressed me was the third lecture and the fourth lecture.
The third lecture is about how parents teach their children to be grateful. Professor Yu Dan talked about Confucius' students asking Confucius what filial piety is. Confucius only said two words, "color is difficult." It means that all the difficulties are for parents to look good. Therefore, we should learn to be grateful, learn to be grateful to everyone, and be grateful to everything. Some people want to be grateful, but they don't. I said, when others help you, say "thank you" in time. Take good care of yourself and be grateful to your parents.
The fourth lecture talked about the importance of resisting setbacks. Once, Professor Yu Dan's daughter's flower basket was broken and she burst into tears. Professor Yu Dan wrapped the flower basket in colored paper, which is better than the original one. Her daughter smiled through tears. I learned a truth from it: crying is the most incompetent performance. It doesn't matter if you encounter setbacks, it is terrible to be discouraged. Like a cicada, it is the beginning of transformation. Although metamorphosis is very painful, it can be exchanged for flying, freedom and frustration.
