How to carry out effective health education
The most basic requirement for parents to send their children to kindergarten is to let them grow up healthily. As a kindergarten teacher and mother, this is also my greatest wish. The second part of "Guidelines for Kindergarten Education (Trial)": The health field is mentioned first in the content and requirements of education, and it is pointed out in the guiding points that kindergartens must give priority to protecting children's lives and promoting children's health. Establish a correct concept of health, attach great importance to children's mental health while attaching importance to their physical health. It can be seen that health is very important for the education of children in early childhood and even the whole kindergarten. Engaged in preschool education 10 years, personally have a good understanding of preschool health education. Generally speaking, pre-school health education should be based on the principles of enriching knowledge, improving attitude, improving teaching methods, training behavior and cultivating habits, and implemented through flexible organizational forms. 1. Children's health education should permeate all aspects of daily life, and children can be educated by these links. The function is mainly manifested in two aspects: First, health education in daily life is often more timely and better understood than "attending classes" in the traditional sense. For example, as soon as children enter the park, the first thing may be "how to go to the toilet in kindergarten" and "how to use their own cups, towels and other items correctly", so that teachers can give timely health behavior guidance while letting children visit and familiarize themselves with the new environment, instead of waiting for the children to sit down seriously. Second, health education in daily life can extend children's health education activities and help consolidate children's health behaviors. For example, although the teacher specially organized the educational activities of "no partial eclipse, no picky eaters", the children only raised their awareness. As for the change of attitude and the establishment of behavior, it remains to be tested at dinner. Teachers only combine the daily "two meals and two points" for continuing education. For another example, exercise can be achieved through morning exercises and outdoor activities, and washing hands with cold water can be carried out in a cold water bath. 2. Children's health education can be combined with various educational activities. In order to achieve the goal and content of children's health education, children's health education can be implemented in combination with kindergarten music, art, language, science and other educational activities, making children's health education lively and in line with children's psychological characteristics. For example, my son (less than 3 years old) likes the catchy nursery rhyme "I am a big apple, and all the children love me." Wash your hands first. If your hands are dirty, don't touch me. " I said it twice and he remembered it. Every time I ate, I changed his words and reminded him to wash his hands before eating. This method is very effective. These educational forms make the knowledge and truth of children's health education easy to learn, and the educational effect will be remarkable. 3. Combination of collective health behavior guidance and individual health behavior guidance Generally speaking, children's health education focuses on collective health behavior guidance. However, due to the individual differences of children, it is too time-consuming to carry out collective education one by one for the individual problems of different children. Therefore, while guiding the collective health behavior, it is necessary to give targeted individual guidance to children's health behavior. For example, give more care and love to a child who often wets his pants, and remind him to go to the toilet in time, especially not to blame him after wetting his pants, otherwise it will make the child more stressed and nervous, which is not conducive to the cultivation of healthy behavior. 4. Children's health education needs the active cooperation of families. The content of children's health education is closely related to the content of family life. Kindergarten has personal and public health problems and eating habits, and so do families. If we only rely on the collective education in kindergarten without the active cooperation of family education, children will become "two-faced": in kindergarten, they are good babies who pay attention to hygiene and are not picky about food, and at home, they are spoiled by adults and remain unchanged. In this way, the effect of infant health education will get twice the result with half the effort. Therefore, children's health education must be actively cooperated by families, and parents should become supporters and collaborators of children's health education. 5. Children's health education has different contents, forms and emphases for children of different ages, and the goals of health education for children of different ages are also different. Take the dining content in Living Hygiene Habits as an example: small classes require children to learn to eat independently with small spoons and master basic dining methods, while middle classes require children to learn to eat correctly with chopsticks and know that it is polite to eat with others. As a kindergarten teacher, we must grasp the characteristics of children of all ages in health education, so that our education can be targeted and receive corresponding results. When carrying out health education for children, we should not only choose different contents, forms and emphases for children of different ages, but also understand the health status, physical condition, family life, nutrition and sports ability of each child. Teachers should educate and carry out corresponding activities according to the specific situation of each child, and make timely adjustments according to the children's performance in the activities. In short, our health education should be based on children's growth and sports activities, with physical exercise as the basic means, cultivate children's good emotions and habits through certain educational methods, make full use of natural factors such as air, sunshine and water, exercise children's bodies, enhance their physique, and at the same time teach children safety and health care knowledge, enhance their awareness of self-protection and promote their all-round healthy development.
