Yanshi Senior High School was founded in 1928, and 1955 was identified as the first batch of key high schools in Henan Province (five in the whole province). Is 1958 one of the first batch of 24 provincial-level key schools in Henan province, with a long history and excellent style of study, and was once known as "Tsinghua in western Henan".
