Is CFA exam difficult?
In fact, CFA is not as difficult as imagined:

1, the registration condition is "not difficult" to achieve.

CFA registration conditions are not harsh. According to the requirements of CFA Institute, the major is not limited. As long as you have a bachelor's degree, even college students can take the exam. It doesn't matter without a bachelor's degree. You can also apply for four years of legal work experience. So most people who are not financial majors but want to work in this field can sign up.

2. Language conditions are "not difficult" to achieve.

CFA is an international certificate. According to the requirements, its examination language can only be English. This makes many candidates who are not confident about their English flinch. In fact, CFA's requirements for English are not as high as everyone thinks. According to CFA official answers over the years, level 4 is enough.

CFA exam focuses not on how candidates use English grammar, but on the analysis of investment priorities, such as securities analysis and portfolio management, financial statement analysis, financial derivatives and so on. So as long as you remember some unknown financial terms, understand the questions and answer them in English, it is not a problem. Instead of worrying about whether the sentences you write meet the grammatical requirements, think about whether the answers to the knowledge points are correct.

3. Mathematical conditions are "not difficult"

Some people think that if you want to take CFA, you must be good at math. Actually, this is a misunderstanding. CFA 1 Grade and Grade 2 have calculation problems, but the proportion is not high, and the requirements for mathematics are not great. Even if you don't know calculus, you will fail in advanced mathematics. It is no exaggeration to say that as long as there is high school mathematics, the operation problems of these calculation problems can be solved. As for whether the calculation can be done correctly, it still depends on the mastery of professional knowledge.

4. Professional conditions are "not difficult" to achieve.

CFA exam mainly examines candidates' comprehensive financial professional knowledge, including: economics (macroeconomics, microeconomics, international finance, international trade), quantitative analysis, international financial market and investment tools, alternative investment, equity capital evaluation, fixed income investment analysis, financial analysis, corporate finance, portfolio management, financial derivatives, professional ethics and ethics.

CFA is divided into three levels, only one level can be reported every year, and it must be tested in the order of grades. If you fail in the previous level, you will not be able to take the next level exam, but in fact CFA level 3 is not as difficult as everyone thinks. Moreover, according to the official pass rate, the average pass rate of each grade is as high as 49%, so after some review, the chances of passing the exam are very high.

CFA 1 grade is 240 multiple-choice questions. The focus of the exam is the tools of investment evaluation and management, and the test sites are mostly some basic knowledge. CFA Level 2 is 120 multiple-choice question, which is more difficult than 1 level. It mainly examines the comprehensive application of knowledge points by candidates. CFA Level 3 is 50% for writing and 50% for case analysis. Writing is a headache for many candidates, but in fact, as long as you keep practicing writing 1~2 hours every day, you will improve obviously after two months. As for the case analysis, it is similar to CFA level 2.
