Make Way for Tomorrow

Tomorrow is not just tomorrow.

I waited for tomorrow, and everything was in vain.

The world is suffering, tomorrow will be tired, and I will go to Qiu Lai as a veteran in spring.

Watch the water flow eastward and the sunset at dusk.

What will tomorrow be like in a hundred years? Please listen to my song tomorrow.

Song of Tomorrow (Draft of the River Beach, Volume 1)

Tomorrow after tomorrow, there are so many tomorrows.

Waiting for tomorrow, everything will be wasted.

The world is tired of tomorrow, and tomorrow will be infinitely experienced.

The faint water flows east and has fallen west since ancient times.

What will tomorrow be like in a hundred years? Please listen to my song tomorrow.

Translation of works

Always waiting for tomorrow, how many tomorrows are there?

I've been waiting for tomorrow all my life, and I haven't made any progress.

The world is as tired of tomorrow as I am, and it will grow old after a year.

Only by living in the present can we realize the real life of watching the river flow in the morning and the sunset in the evening.

How many' tomorrows' can there be in a hundred years? Please listen to my song tomorrow.

Creation background

This poem is written by Qian Fu, a scholar in Ming Dynasty. Some people think it was written by Wen Jia's "Today's Song". In fact, as long as we look at their birth and death years, it should be Wen Jia (150 1 ~ 1583) and Qian Fu (141-kloc-0/504).

It is also recorded that Wen Jia also wrote Song of Tomorrow. Therefore, there are two authors of Song of Tomorrow to be verified, namely Qian Hetan (also known as Qian Fu) and Wen Jia, who have always had different opinions.

The Chinese Morning Post (March 20xx 1 1) has two authors. The articles Sikuquanshu and Wenwu Song indicate that the author of Tomorrow Song is Wen Jia, so many people tend to think that the author of Tomorrow Song is Wen Jia.

Chewing words (No.1 1, 20xx, pp. 43-44) The author of "Song of Tomorrow" is non-Qing, and there are works such as "Thousand Rivers Beach Draft" (an engraving of Shen Simeiju in the thirty-sixth year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty) that have been handed down to this day. The poem "Song of Tomorrow" is included in the first volume of "River Beach Draft". In addition, the article added the identity of Qian Hetan, that is, "Mr. Qian is afraid of happiness and modest." His home is close to Fanghetan, which is famous for its beach clouds. " And introduced his filial piety as a scholar and the year of his death.

It can be seen that although it is difficult to draw a conclusion about the author of Song of Tomorrow, it is still very clear who comes first and who follows, Qian Fu and Wen Jia.

works appreciation

This poem mentions "tomorrow" seven times, repeatedly warning people to cherish time, do today's work well, don't put it off until tomorrow, and don't waste time. Poetry has simple meaning, clear language, easy-to-understand reasoning and great educational significance.

The enlightenment of this song of tomorrow is that many things in the world can be fought for and saved as much as possible, and only time is hard to retain. There is only one life, and time never looks back. Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today and the day after tomorrow. Say, "What can be done today can be done today."

Song of Tomorrow has been widely praised by the world for hundreds of years. In his works, the poet warns and exhorts people to firmly grasp the fleeting today, do well what they can do today, and don't pin any plans and hopes on the unknown tomorrow. Today is the most precious. Only by grasping today, can we have a full tomorrow, do something and achieve something. Otherwise, "the day after tomorrow" will only end up as "all in vain" and accomplish nothing. So, whatever you do, remember that everything starts today and everything starts now.

This poem is rich in content, fluent in language, easy to understand and convincing.

Famous comments

Qian Yong: When the younger generation encounters anything, they will say, "I can't do it." This is also a big fallacy. I can do anything, but it's safe not to do it. Again, do one thing and say, "Wait until tomorrow." This is also a big mistake. I can do everything. If I follow blindly, I will make a big mistake in my life. So, Mr. Qian Hetan has the best song tomorrow.

works appreciation

The meaning of this poem is simple and straightforward, without any metaphor. But it expresses a kind of ills that everyone has been trying to put an end to since ancient times. Many people regard "tomorrow" as an excuse to avoid problems that should be solved immediately, and let themselves be lazy until "everything is wasted". In fact, as the author said, "Tomorrow can become geometry in a hundred years", how many tomorrows can life actually have? The most important thing is not tomorrow, but seize the present.
