The United Nations Convention against Corruption, adopted by the 58th General Assembly in 2003, requires its member countries to take honesty education as the content of public education, including primary and secondary school and university courses. The Opinions on Carrying out Honesty Education in Colleges and Universities issued by the Ministry of Education requires that "from 2007, honesty education will be carried out in all colleges and universities in China.
The purpose and significance of honesty education;
1, adhere to the clear distinction between public and private, public before private, self-denial.
2. Adhere to honesty and refuse corruption, be innocent and do things cleanly.
3, adhere to thrift, hard work and plain living, thrift.
4. Insist on suffering first and then being happy, and be willing to give.
5, clean politics, and consciously maintain the true nature of the people's public servants.
Integrity: Integrity means integrity, that is, not greedy for ill-gotten gains. Cleanliness is whiteness, which means an open and aboveboard attitude towards life. To be clear, honesty means having honest behavior and an aboveboard attitude.
